The Spanish 'startup' Orbio AI has announced the closing of a 'Series A' funding round for 21 million dollars (18 million euros), led by Dawn Capital, considered the main European investor specializing in 'B2B' (business-to-business) technology, as the company communicated this Monday.

Visionaries VC, Plus Partners, and Enzo Ventures have participated again in the operation, funds with extensive experience in the technology sector and international presence, aligned with the ambition and growth of the project.

Thanks to this new injection of resources, the firm, focused on the application of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) to transform human resources management, has already accumulated more than 28 million dollars (24 million euros) raised in just one year since its founding.

The funds obtained in this round will be used to launch new operational 'hubs' in the markets where it is already present, as well as to drive the development of an AI agent ecosystem that covers the entire employee lifecycle: from talent acquisition and selection to professional development, retention, and staff satisfaction.

The Spanish company currently has a team of more than 20 professionals operating in more than 20 countries in Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

Orbio AI collaborates with clients from sectors such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and staffing, including key players like Ribera Salud, Atento, or Yum! Brands (parent company of KFC, Taco Bell, or Pizza Hut), consolidating itself as a relevant player in the modernization of human resources departments and selection agencies.

According to the company, its technology enables organizations to stay connected with candidates and employees 24/7 in a more agile way, enhancing the quality of the experience for both parties.

Orbio AI has created AI agents that already manage more than one million candidates per year, with monthly growth of 70%, capable of analyzing resumes, documentation, and exit interviews without limits to ensure that all candidates and employees have the same opportunities and live a homogeneous experience with their companies.

The company claims to have managed to cut hiring times by 60% --in operational positions, from 20 days to less than a week-- and reduce initial turnover by 20% during the first six months, also achieving 98% satisfaction from candidates and a 69% interview completion rate.
