Vidrala obtained a net profit of 117.4 million euros in the first half of the year, which represents an advance of 8.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. Despite the complicated environment, the company attributes this improvement to internal management measures and the good performance of its business in South America, and has reiterated its financial objectives for this year.

The gross operating result (Ebitda) reached 225.5 million euros, 4.4% more, raising the margin on sales to 29.9%, after increasing by 110 basis points compared to the previous year.

In a scenario marked by weak consumption in Europe and inflationary pressures arising from the war in Iran, this behavior, according to the company, highlights operational discipline, improvement in cost efficiency, the impact of the "ambitious" investment plan, and the success of the diversification strategy towards new geographical areas with greater growth potential.

The firm has emphasized that the evolution of profit margins has been "consistent" in the three regions where Vidrala operates, which confirms the appropriate adaptation of its cost structure to demand and market competition.

In terms of billing, Vidrala recorded revenues of 754 million euros, 0.5% more in reported data. For its part, net financial debt was reduced to 252.3 million euros, equivalent to 0.6 times the Ebitda.

The improvement of the semester has boosted earnings per share to 3.36 euros, compared to 3.06 euros in the same period of the previous year, which represents an increase of 9.9%.

"In the face of a context full of adversities, during the first half of 2026 we grow in profits and strengthen our margins. This result is a direct consequence of the strategic decisions made and the management measures in place, and confirms the solidity of our business model," emphasized Vidrala's CEO, Raúl Gómez.

On this basis, the company maintains its goals for the entirety of 2026, including achieving an Ebitda of over 450 million euros, increasing earnings per share by more than 5%, and generating cash close to 200 million euros.

The purpose of Vidrala is to reconcile investments aimed at customer service and international expansion with a "attractive and growing" shareholder return.

In this line, the company has recently communicated the expansion of its share buyback program up to 3% of the share capital. In addition, within this shareholder return policy, Vidrala has increased this year by 15% the annual dividend, up to a total expected remuneration of 1.7505 euros per share.
