The zonal electoral boards of Seville, Malaga, and Cadiz have decided to extend the voting hours in three polling stations —CEIP Azahares in Seville East, CEIP Constitución 78 in Malaga, and CEIP La Florida in El Puerto de Santa María (Cadiz)— due to delays registered in the constitution of their polling stations.
In the case of Seville, the Zonal Electoral Board has resolved that the polling stations located at CEIP Azahares in Seville East remain open until 8:43 PM, as they were not definitively constituted until 9:43 AM.
On the other hand, the Malaga Electoral Board has agreed to extend voting until 8:14 PM at one of the polling stations at CEIP Constitución 78, which was constituted with a 14-minute delay.
Likewise, the Provincial Electoral Board of Cadiz has established that a polling station at CEIP La Florida in El Puerto de Santa María will maintain voting until 8:10 PM, after having been constituted with a ten-minute delay from the scheduled time.
As highlighted by the Minister of Health, Presidency, and Emergencies, Antonio Sanz, these are the only notable incidents registered so far in the election day of this 17M and they exclusively affect the closing time of the affected polling stations for the maintenance of voting.
