At least four Palestinians have lost their lives this Thursday in a new series of attacks by the Israeli Army on different points of the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire reached in October 2025 following the proposal presented by the United States for the future of this coastal territory.
According to the newspaper "Filastin", a woman has died from gunfire from Israeli forces in the vicinity of Rafah, in the south of the Strip. Additionally, a man identified as Jabr Kamal Muqbel has died in a bombing against a vehicle in Deir al-Balah, in the central area.
The body of this 34-year-old man has been completely charred after the Israeli Army launched a second attack within hours, this time against the vehicle transporting him in a funeral procession towards the area of Sheikh Ajlin, southwest of the city of Gaza.
Another fatal victim is a man who has been shot dead by Israeli soldiers in the town of Al Zahra, in the center of the Strip. Likewise, a fourth person has died in an airstrike against a vehicle near a hospital in Al Zawaida, also in the central area of the enclave, according to local sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The Israeli Army, which has not yet provided explanations regarding these incidents, has reported during the day the death of a "commander" of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) linked to the captivity of seven Israelis kidnapped during the attacks of October 7, 2023.
In this regard, it has detailed that the man, identified as Mahmud Abdelfatá Auad, died in a bombing carried out over the weekend against the city of Gaza. "The troops of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) remain deployed in the area, in line with the agreement, and will continue to act to eliminate any imminent threat," the military statement added.
For its part, the Ministry of Health of Gaza has indicated that in the last 24 hours five deaths and 35 injuries have been recorded, raising the toll since the ceasefire came into effect to 1,408 "martyrs" and 4,916 injured. Additionally, 834 bodies have been recovered in areas from which Israeli forces withdrew after the aforementioned agreement.
The same organization has indicated in a message disseminated on social media that, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive following the attacks of October 7, 2023 —which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official figures from the Israeli authorities—, 73,928 dead and 175,030 injured have been recorded in the Palestinian enclave.
