At least seven people have lost their lives and four others have been injured this Wednesday in the west of the Syrian province of Homs after an armed attack against a bus, according to local authorities.
A source from the Health Directorate of Homs has confirmed to the state news agency "SANA" this initial toll of victims, after a shooting attack occurred against the vehicle as it crossed the Masyaf bridge.
The injured have been evacuated by teams from the Syrian Civil Defense and taken to several hospitals in the city of Homs to receive medical attention.
According to the channel "Syria TV," a group of attackers opened fire on the bus, in which employees of the same company were traveling.
The Internal Security Forces have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the attack and locate those responsible.
