At least three Palestinians, including a child, have lost their lives this Monday in a bombing carried out by the Israeli Army against the Yabalia refugee camp, in the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire declared in October 2025 still being in effect.

Medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have indicated that the attack impacted a group of civilians inside the camp. Likewise, they have specified that the bombing has also caused several injuries, so it is not ruled out that the death toll may increase in the coming hours.

A few hours earlier, the authorities in Gaza, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), had put the number of Palestinians killed at 970 and the number of injured at more than 3,060 due to Israeli attacks since the ceasefire came into effect, agreed after both sides accepted the United States' proposal on the future of the enclave.

Furthermore, the same authorities stressed that, since the start of the offensive launched by Israel following the attacks of October 7, 2023 -- which caused about 1,200 deaths and nearly 250 abductions, according to the official toll -- 72,980 deaths and 173,171 injuries have been recorded.
