The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed this Wednesday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked a refinery located in the Russian city of Ryazan, as well as another facility of the same type in the Perm region, as part of the long-range attack campaign carried out by Kiev against targets in Russian territory.
"We have new results from our long-range sanctions aimed at Russian facilities that contribute to supporting and prolonging the war. An oil refinery and a logistics center in Ryazan have been attacked," he indicated in a message on social media in which he claimed that the targeted objective is located about 360 kilometers from the border.
According to the Ukrainian leader, another attack of similar characteristics has hit an oil refinery in the Perm region, in addition to an export terminal and a military company in the Rostov region.
Likewise, Zelensky has emphasized a new offensive against a fast boat base belonging to the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, located on the peninsula of Crimea, occupied by Russia.
"I thank our fighters for their precision, and I appreciate everyone who makes these long-range results possible," he stated, insisting that Russia "must feel that every day that passes in this war will only incur an ever-increasing cost."
In this line, he urged to "weaken the aggressor and maintain pressure to accelerate the end of this war."
These attacks occur while the Russian Armed Forces intensify their offensive against Ukrainian port infrastructures, with new bombings against ships in the ports of Odesa and Chernomorsk, in the south of the country, which Moscow accuses of transporting weapons and military material.
