The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, communicated this Saturday a series of operations in the Caspian Sea directed against a Russian warship and several boats used in the transport of military material related to Iran, actions that he has described as successful.

"We have achieved very good results with these long-range attacks in the Caspian Sea. In particular, these are ships that were involved in the transport of military cargo from Iran, as well as a Russian warship," he explained, according to a statement released on social media.

The leader also detailed that, in recent days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out attacks against various targets in several regions of Russia, including a refinery located in Filanovski, owned by the Russian oil company Lukoil.

"Tonight, the Ukrainian military has once again attacked the Kirov military plant, from where (Russia) supplies components for its attacks against our people. The distance is about 1,200 kilometers from our border," he pointed out.

On Friday, Zelensky noted that the Army had managed to strike with cruise missiles a plant of the company Avitek in the Russian region of Kirov, where items for military, dual-use, and civilian purposes are produced, including air defense systems; aircraft components; ejection seats for pilot rescue; aircraft lifting systems and winches; beam supports; and other aviation equipment.
