Ukrainian unmanned aircraft have carried out new attacks during the past night against industrial infrastructures located in two regions of Russia, while Russian authorities have also reported additional offensives on Moscow that have forced the temporary interruption of activity at Zhukovski and Domodedovo airports again.

The most relevant incident was registered in the Tula region, south of the Russian capital. Its governor, Dimitri Miliaev, confirmed that the remains of a downed drone fell on the town of Novomoskovsk and could have affected the large Azot chemical plant, dedicated to the production of fertilizers and components used in the manufacture of ammunition.

Miliaev, however, has avoided commenting for now on videos disseminated on social networks that point to a possible direct impact on these facilities, and has limited himself to mentioning "impacts on an industrial company."

Another attack occurred in the Yaroslavl region, as indicated by the local governor, Mikhail Yevrayev, who explained that the target was industrial facilities for fuel storage.

For the moment, authorities have not reported any victims as a consequence of these attacks.

In parallel, the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobianin, announced that several drone attacks were repelled in the vicinity of the capital. Zhukovski airport had to be temporarily closed after an air attack alert was activated, and operational restrictions were also applied at Domodedovo airport.

According to Russian authorities, around 250 Ukrainian drones have been destroyed in the last few hours, of which 168 were reportedly shot down in the Kursk region alone.
