The authorities of Ukraine have reported at least six deceased, including three minors, after a Russian bombing that hit a park in the town of Nova Vodolaga, in the Kharkiv region.

The new balance has been communicated by the regional governor, Oleg Sinegubov, while the president of the country, Volodymyr Zelensky, has already expressed his firm condemnation of what happened.

Before this update, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office had managed to identify five of the deceased victims: three women aged 28, 34, and 36, as well as two girls aged 1 and 11. In addition, another 15 people have been injured, seven of them minors.

According to preliminary information, the attack would have been carried out with an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Geran-3 model, around 16:30 local time. Russia, for the moment, has not offered any official reaction to the incident.

Zelensky has shared on his social media images of the victims of the bombing. "Terrible photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war," lamented the head of the Ukrainian state.

The president has also taken the opportunity to again urge his American counterpart, Donald Trump, to reverse his decision to suspend sanctions against Russia.

"We ask him to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask them to do everything possible to bring peace and ensure security," he emphasized.
