According to the Royal House, the monarch is also making phone calls to the mayors of the municipalities affected by the fire to follow the evolution of the emergency on the ground.
In addition, the King plans to travel to the operations center of the General Command of the Balearic Islands, from where he will participate by videoconference in the meeting of the State Coordination and Direction Committee (CECOD) of the State Emergency Plan, in order to follow the coordination of the work against the fires.
