The PP's economy vice secretary, Juan Bravo, has minimized this Friday the relevance of the statements by former ministerial adviser Koldo García, whom he has attributed “little credibility and little significance” after the latter claimed that the PP lawyer offered him one million euros in exchange for information against the Government of Pedro Sánchez.
In a meeting with the media in Huelva, Bravo pointed out about Koldo García that “he went into prison for taking money the bribes, it would be the only time he hasn’t taken money,” thereby emphasizing his doubts about the version offered by the former adviser.
Likewise, the Popular Party leader recalled that García “already accused two colleagues that he had conversations with them,” and later “acknowledged that it was a lie and that he did it because he knew they were recording him,” referring to previous episodes which, in his judgment, reduce the reliability of his current testimony.
“So, I think this man’s words have little credibility and little significance. Let’s get to what’s important,” Bravo concluded, insisting on distancing himself from the accusations and on stripping them of political weight.
