The minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function and general secretary of the PSOE in Madrid, Óscar López, has attacked the attitude that, in his opinion, the PP and Vox maintain, whom he has accused of behaving like the "gardener's dog" and has emphasized that the real support for Ceuta involves adopting "measures" like those the Government is finalizing and not by launching "insults".
López has not been able to specify whether it will finally be this Tuesday when the Council of Ministers analyzes the decree law in which, according to "El País", the Executive is working to expedite the return of immigrants to Morocco, so that they can be handed over before the processing of their files concludes.
When questioned about this point, he limited himself to referring to the explanations of the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, responsible for coordinating the Government's response in Ceuta, who already indicated that actions are being prepared to accelerate the recovery of normality in the autonomous city and "for those people to return as soon as possible".
The head of Digital Transformation has contrasted the Government's willingness to "seek solutions" against those who, in his opinion, "are prolonging the problems and using them to insult".
Since the closure of the Education and Vocational Training Days 'Another education is possible in Madrid', López has made it clear that he does not rule out "any measure to truly support Ceuta because Ceuta is not supported by insulting anyone but with measures".
"Gardener's dog" and lack of cooperation
"There is a Government that has committed to providing spaces, resources, officials, means. And then there are others who are in the gardener's dog, who neither do nor let do, who not only do not provide spaces but also question those that exist," he criticized, reproaching the attitude of the right-wing parties.
In the same vein, he denounced that "not only do they do nothing regarding minors, despite being their responsibility, but they also hinder what others want to do," insisting that this stance obstructs management in the autonomous city.
"Enough already. If we really support Ceuta, let’s support it with actions, not with insults, because I see the right that, more than support, is an insult. Do things," he demanded, calling on the PP and Vox to move from words to actions.
