The president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will travel this Friday, July 31, to Ceuta along with the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, with the aim of analyzing on the ground the migratory crisis triggered in the autonomous city after the massive and uncontrolled entry of thousands of people from Morocco.
According to the planned agenda, the head of the Executive will arrive at the Tarajal border at 11:40 a.m., where he will hold a meeting with representatives of the State Security Forces and Corps operating in the area.
Subsequently, at 12:00 p.m., Sánchez will head to the Assembly Palace to participate in a coordination meeting with the president of the Autonomous City, Jesús Vivas; the Government delegate, Miguel Ángel Pérez; the heads of the National Police and the Civil Guard, as well as the director of the CETI and the Red Cross of Ceuta.
At the end of this meeting, a joint statement is scheduled to be made to the media by the president of the Government and the president of the Autonomous City of Ceuta.
