The Minister of Youth and Childhood, Sira Rego, has "unequivocally" censured the recent attack against members of the Polisario Front, which she has defined as an "intolerable assassination," attributed to an action by Morocco in the vicinity of the Western Sahara separation wall.

Rego has denounced the "violation of international law" that, in her opinion, this military operation implies and has defended the "right to self-determination" of the Sahrawi people. Her words were disseminated through a message published on the social network Bluesky and reported by Europa Press.

For its part, the Sahrawi Presidency reported this Monday the death of Lehbib Mohamed Abdelaziz, a member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and son of former Sahrawi president Mohamed Abdelaziz, along with two other members of the movement, during a military action recorded in the area, according to the Sahrawi news agency SPS.
