The Andalusian parliamentarian of the PP for Málaga, Sandra Extremera, has highlighted this Saturday the boost given by the Government of Juanma Moreno to the educational infrastructures of the province, in contrast to "the decades of lies, neglect, lack of planning, and broken promises of the socialist governments."
In this context, Extremera has emphasized the recent formalization of the contract to build the new IES Parque Victoria, in Rincón de la Victoria, a project estimated at almost eight million euros that will provide the municipality with a new educational center and respond to both the population increase and the demands of families. The parliamentarian has stressed that the future institute of Rincón de la Victoria represents "a future bet for our youth and for the families of Málaga."
"A responsible Government must anticipate the growth of municipalities and ensure that our children and young people have dignified, modern, and adequate centers. That is exactly what the Government of Juanma Moreno is doing," she pointed out, defending the planning of the Junta in terms of educational infrastructures.
Furthermore, Extremera has noted that this project adds to the 38 million euros mobilized by the Junta de Andalucía to make possible four new educational centers in the province: the Intelhorce Infant and Primary School, the IES of Soliva, the IES of Benalmádena, and the CEIP Pablo Ruiz Picasso of Fuengirola.
She also highlighted that all these investments are part of the commitment of the Andalusian Executive "to a quality public education, with more modern, sustainable centers adapted to current needs."
The 'popular' leader finally reminded that the Junta de Andalucía has allocated "more than 21 million euros to improve the thermal conditions of schools and institutes in the province" through the installation of air conditioning units, more efficient cooling systems, and the creation of shaded areas. "More than 500 centers in 86 municipalities of the province have benefited from the Thermal Comfort and Bioclimatization Plan," she concluded.
