The secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Rebeca Torró, has attacked the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, whom she blames for an alleged "inability to impose order" within his party, and has gone so far as to state that "they have him as decoration" after the Community of Madrid decided to sell the penthouse that was acquired to serve as a provisional office for the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, while the works at the Real Casa de Correos, headquarters of the regional Executive, are ongoing.

Torró has linked this operation to the management model of the Madrid government, criticizing "They are the penthouses, the million-dollar injections to Quirón that end up in the penthouses, the flow of money from all the madrileños that goes to the penthouses and not to public services," in a message disseminated on the social network 'X', where she insisted that public resources should prioritize health, education, and other essential services.

In the same vein, the general secretary of PSOE-M and minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, has emphasized that Ayuso "was getting a free apartment" and, despite the regional government communicating its intention to sell the property, has demanded that the complete purchase file of the "luxury penthouse" be made public, to clarify the conditions of the operation and the use of public funds.

Likewise, the minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, has mocked the rectification of the Community of Madrid in deciding to sell the penthouse acquired to temporarily house the Presidency offices during the works at the Casa de Correos —where the official office of Isabel Díaz Ayuso is located— and to allocate the income obtained to the recovery of the Sierra Oeste after the fire.

Puente has ridiculed the situation by asking, also on his 'X' account, "But where is this woman going to go then during the works of the headquarters of the Community of Madrid? We are all already with our hearts in our throats," in a clearly sarcastic tone about the future location of the office of the Madrid president.
