The Civil Guard has arrested in Palma del Río (Córdoba) the alleged responsible for a robbery with violence inside a house in the municipality. The woman would have accessed the home accompanied by a man, whom the Benemérita continues to search for, and there she struggled with the owner of the house, an elderly man, who suffered injuries. During the assault, she took his wallet, in which he carried around 300 euros, and the judicial authority has already ordered the detention of the arrested person.
According to the Armed Institute detailed in an informative note, early in the afternoon of Saturday, August 22, the Civil Guard became aware that a robbery with violence had occurred in a house in Palma del Río in which a man and a woman would have intervened.
Presumably, it was the woman who, after accessing the interior of the property, assaulted and struggled with the resident, an elderly man, from whom she snatched the wallet he was carrying, with personal documentation and about 300 euros in small bills. As a result of the struggle and the assault, the victim presented minor injuries.
Immediately, Civil Guard agents moved to the scene and, after verifying the complaint, began efforts to fully clarify what happened and to identify, locate, and arrest the alleged perpetrators for an alleged crime of home invasion and another of robbery with violence.
As a result of the operation launched and the actions carried out by the Civil Guard, with the support of the Local Police of Palma del Río, the alleged author was arrested, while the Benemérita continues the investigations to identify, locate, and arrest the man who accompanied her.
The arrested woman was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority along with the proceedings instructed by the Civil Guard, which agreed to her imprisonment.
