The judge of the Investigating Court number 10 of the Court of Instance of Seville, on duty for detained persons, has decreed this Saturday the provisional imprisonment, communicated and without bail for the 20-year-old young man detained for stabbing to death a 41-year-old prostitute in Bormujos (Seville) and attempting to end the life of another woman.
Official sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) have confirmed to Europa Press that, initially, he is charged with an alleged crime of murder and another of attempted murder. During his appearance before the judge, the arrested has declared and admitted the facts.
The TSJA has also specified that the instruction of the case will correspond to the Investigating Court number 5 of the Court of Instance of Seville, which was the one on duty for incidents at the time the events occurred.
The incident took place on the night of last Thursday, September 24, when a 20-year-old young man was arrested as the alleged responsible for the death of a 41-year-old prostitute with whom he had arranged a meeting in a room of an apartment in Bormujos.
The suspect had arranged a meeting with two women in this municipality. One of them was ultimately murdered, while the other, who was in the same place, managed to escape, as indicated by the Government subdelegate in Seville, Francisco Toscano, in an audio sent to the media.
According to the Civil Guard, the events occurred between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM that night. The three were in the room when, for reasons that are still under investigation, the young man took a sharp object and stabbed the woman, who suffered several wounds with abundant bleeding that ultimately caused her death.
After the assault, the young man left the apartment and, already on the street, alerted the emergency services about what had happened. He even provided his location, according to municipal sources, which allowed him to be arrested by the Local Police of Bormujos. The body of the victim was subsequently transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Seville.
