The dana Adam continues to cause intense rains and storms in different parts of Spain, with special incidence in the Comunidad Valenciana, where the floods have forced the activation of emergency devices, restricted mobility, and suspended classes in numerous municipalities.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) includes in its warning map the areas affected by adverse weather phenomena, with different levels of risk depending on the expected intensity of the precipitation and storms.

The viewer allows to check the weather warnings by provinces, verify their risk level, and know their evolution over the next few hours. The warnings may be modified as forecasts change.

The AEMET warnings are classified into three levels: yellow, orange, and red. Yellow warns of phenomena that may be dangerous for certain activities; orange indicates a significant danger, while red corresponds to extraordinary danger situations.

The Valencian Community, among the areas affected by the storm

The precipitation associated with the Adam DANA has caused significant flooding in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante. Among the most affected towns are Oliva, Gandia, Pego, and Dénia, where emergency services have intervened to address the incidents caused by the accumulation of water.

According to AEMET data corresponding to the morning of Monday, October 19, Pego had recorded 620.6 liters per square meter in 24 hours, while Miramar accumulated 548.8 and Oliva reached 530.9 liters per square meter.

In light of the evolution of the storm, authorities recommend consulting official warnings before making trips, avoiding flood-prone areas, and not crossing ravines, channels, or flooded roads.

Citizens can also consult updated information directly on the official AEMET meteorological warnings page.
