Marta Gómez Montero starred in one of the most tense moments of the latest broadcast of Malas lenguas, the current affairs and debate program on La 2 presented by Jesús Cintora.
The collaborator got up from the table, removed her microphone, and left the set in tears after addressing the presenter directly during the program broadcast on Saturday night. The scene occurred while the panel was debating the statements of the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, on labor absenteeism.
"You are not going to humiliate me again"
Instead of intervening on the topic, Gómez Montero stated that she did not want to continue under those conditions and reproached Cintora: "You are not going to humiliate me again." The collaborator assured that she had endured this situation for some time for economic and family reasons. Before leaving the studio, she closed her intervention with a reference to the novel *The General in His Labyrinth*, by Gabriel García Márquez.
After her departure, journalist Esther Palomera took the floor to resume the debate and acknowledged that the moment had been uncomfortable for those remaining on the set.
Jesús Cintora's response
Minutes later, Jesús Cintora explained that he did not understand the collaborator's reaction and maintained that he had only gestured for her to wait for her turn to speak while another participant was talking.

The presenter also apologized if Gómez Montero had felt offended and assured her that she could return to the program whenever she wished. To date, the collaborator has not offered any further public explanation about what happened.
