The counselor of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Environment and Environmental Policy of the Junta de Castilla y León, Joaquín Antonio Pino (Vox), has defined the railway accident that occurred in Urda (Toledo) as "murder" and has held Pedro Sánchez's Government responsible for "squandering" public funds on "prostitution and family favors" instead of allocating them to infrastructure.

From Madrid, where he was attending the tractor protest called by the agricultural sector to protest the situation in the countryside and which was finally suspended after the accident, Pino denounced: "Unfortunately today we find ourselves with a new incident, with a new murder of people, because things do not happen by chance".

The counselor criticized the "degradation of all public services" and cited as an example the roads and highways "wrecked and without maintenance", a deterioration that, according to what he added, also extends to "rail infrastructure".

After positioning himself "on the side of the victims", he lashed out against the central Government for its "squandering" and insisted that, instead of "investing in infrastructure and people's well-being", it "squanders public money on matters such as prostitution or favoring relatives".

Pino stressed that "it is what we have been seeing throughout Pedro Sánchez's legislature" and underscored the "opportunity that Spaniards have to change these policies and say enough already!". In this regard, he called for: "That efficient use be made of the money and that all infrastructure be maintained".

Regarding the agricultural mobilization planned in the capital, the head of Agriculture has held Castilla y León up as a reference that it is possible to "change everything that could not be done".

He avoided going deeper into other matters considering that "today is not the day", but he wanted to emphasize that "there is a hope, that there is an illusion of being able to change things for all Spaniards, so that efficient use is made of resources, so that citizens return to being at the center of policies and, of course, so that agriculture, livestock, the farmer be at the center of national policies as it should never have stopped being".
