Grupo neoCK has presented SDDI (Social Data Driven Impact), the first data space for the social sector in Spain, a platform that already has nearly 300 connected organizations and has become the second most in-demand data space in the country after the agri-food sector.

The initiative is born with the objective of reducing the digitalization gap of the Third Sector - the set of private non-profit organizations that work for social, solidarity, or general interest purposes - compared to the private sector and facilitating the access of social entities to technologies linked to artificial intelligence and the data economy. According to data cited by the company, the sector has a five-year lag in digitalization and 48% of entities invest less than 1,000 euros annually in technology.

“Without quality data, there is no useful artificial intelligence or real digital transformation,” state Grupo neoCK regarding a project that began to take shape in 2024 and seeks to facilitate the capture, management, and analysis of shared data between organizations in an ethical and secure manner.

The director of the Social Technology Business Unit of Grupo neoCK, Rocío Pérez, explains that the project is based on four pillars: data sovereignty, federation, interoperability, and governance, with the objective that organizations maintain control over the shared information and can operate under common standards.

Measurement of Social Impact

One of the main use cases of the data space is neoIMPACT, a tool designed to automate and standardize the measurement of the social impact of organizations and programs under European and Spanish standards. The platform seeks to reduce work time, bureaucracy, and consulting costs, in addition to facilitating metrics and evidence for decision-making.

The CEO of neoCK, Jesús Martín, assures that this model will allow for a more precise evaluation of public aid, measure social impact with real evidence, and improve the transparency and efficiency of public and private funding.

With an investment of two million euros, more than one million contributed directly by the company, and a team of 20 professionals, SDDI currently has 224 connected organizations. Among them are entities such as Cáritas (Moda Re-), Save the Children, Plena Inclusión, Plan International, and Provivienda.
