The first vice president and minister of Economy, Trade and Business, Carlos Cuerpo, will hold a meeting this Monday with the president of Telefónica, Marc Murtra, with the aim of taking the pulse of the telecommunications sector and analyzing issues related to the development of artificial intelligence (AI), according to sources from the Government cited by Europa Press.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business, according to Cuerpo's official agenda.
Before this meeting, the minister of Economy will participate in the presentation of the event "IA360: plan for a responsible deployment of AI," which will be chaired by the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, at the Moncloa Complex.
This event, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., includes the organization of a panel with experts in the field, in addition to the speeches by Sánchez and Cuerpo himself.
