Bókun, the booking and channel management solution belonging to the Tripadvisor group, puts tourism experience providers in contact with more than 2,600 distributors spread throughout the world, with the aim of simplifying the operation of their businesses and expanding their commercialization channels.
The platform is aimed at companies that offer excursions, activities, tourist attractions, events and transport services, and makes it possible to control all bookings from a single system. Thanks to this tool, operators can market their products through their own websites, travel agencies, online sales platforms, local and regional distributors, as well as by phone, email and at their physical points of sale.
Bókun integrates and unifies the bookings that arrive from all these channels, including those from Viator, Tripadvisor and other associated platforms. Thus, operators can adjust their inventory and availability from a single interface and minimize the risk of duplicate bookings.
In addition, the solution offers access to a network of more than 2,600 experience distributors, including more than 70 international online travel agencies (OTAs) and platforms such as Viator, GetYourGuide, Tiqets, Civitatis and Airbnb.
According to the data provided by the company, tourism operators increase their bookings by an average of 200% during their first year on the Bókun Marketplace. The firm adds that its technology helps cut the time spent on administrative tasks.
By being part of the Tripadvisor group, Bókun combines its booking management system with access to an extensive international distribution network, with the aim of helping tourism companies optimize their processes and attract new customers in different markets.
