The Minister of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, Pablo Bustinduy, has criticized that Urbagestión, owner of the apartment in Madrid from which Maricarmen Abascal was evicted last Wednesday, has "gained social conscience" just after it started to be talked about a possible expropriation of the housing.
Bustinduy has expressed this assessment through the social network BlueSky, where he shared a post from eldiario.es that details that Urbagestión has offered the apartment of Maricarmen to the Madrid City Council after the eviction.
As reported by El Economista, the company would have sent the Madrid City Council an urgent proposal for the housing to become part of the social rental plan of the capital.
At the same time, the company, which emphasizes that it does not act as an investment fund, but as a small business, has indicated that it reserves the legal actions it deems appropriate in response to the attacks and threats received, and denies that the Ministry of Housing or Casa 47 have offered to acquire the property.
