Indra Group has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Bold Technology in order to strengthen its position as a driving company in the Catalan industry, according to the company’s announcement this Monday.
Bold, based in Montmeló (Barcelona), specializes in advanced energy storage systems, high-performance batteries, battery management systems (BMS), and intelligent energy management solutions based on artificial intelligence.
The agreement represents "the first strategic alliance" that is being promoted from the new territorial delegation of Indra, created after the reinforcement of its structure in Catalonia with the appointment of Enric Blasco as territorial delegate.
In this line, the strategy aims to turn institutional, business, and industrial closeness into concrete projects that enhance the technological and industrial capabilities of Catalonia.
Blasco has assured that with this collaboration they want to "quickly identify" the best technological capabilities of the territory, connect them with the major strategic programs of the company, and generate new growth opportunities for the entire industrial ecosystem.
"The agreement with Bold Technology is a first example of this way of working: to impact, add talent, innovation, and industrial capacity to jointly develop strategic future technologies," he added.
The initiative is part of Indra Group's commitment to consolidate Catalonia as "one of the main industrial and technological hubs in southern Europe."
