Petit Palace has launched the total renovation of the Petit Palace President hotel, located in the Madrid neighborhood of Salamanca, through a project valued at nearly four million euros to modernize its 104 rooms and the main common areas, according to what the hotel operator communicated this Thursday.

The work began last July and will be carried out over a period of seven months, with the aim of completing it in January 2027.

The action plans for the comprehensive update of the 104 hotel rooms, along with the remodeling of shared spaces, including the "lobby-bar" and the breakfast area of the building, a rationalist style construction designed in 1939 by architect Manuel Ignacio Galíndez Zabala.

The interior design has been commissioned to Merry Design Studio, while the firm Arquimedios is responsible for the architectural project and urban management, and the company Sutega is in charge of the material execution of the works.

With this reform, the chain aims to strengthen its presence in one of the main commercial and hotel axes of the capital. This operation is part of the company's asset update plan following its recent strategic alliance with Soho Boutique Hotels.

After this integration, the operator manages a portfolio of over 50 urban boutique hotels and nearly 3,300 rooms in Spain and Portugal, with a workforce of more than 900 employees and an annual turnover that exceeds 180 million euros.
