Prosegur closed the first nine months of the fiscal year with net profit of 87 million euros, which implies an advance of 5.6% compared with the same period of the previous year, as the security group reported this Wednesday.
In that same period, the company’s revenue figure reached 3,946 million euros, which represents an increase of 7.5% compared with the first three quarters of 2025.
The company explained that this improvement in net results is due, to a large extent, to the increase in gross operating profit (Ebitda), which rose 6.2%, to 435 million euros, as well as to a “rigorous control” of financial expenses.
Performance by regions
By geographic area, Prosegur’s billing in Latin America reached 1,858 million euros, 8.1% more than in the same period of the previous fiscal year, reversing the decline it had experienced during those months.
In Europe, revenues advanced 3.8%, to 1,561 million euros, while sales in the rest of geographies (RoW) were 527 million euros, which represents growth of 17.1%.
The group’s net financial debt remained at 1,397 million euros, with stable leverage, located at a ratio of net financial debt over Ebitda of 2.4 times. Operating cash flow rose to 135 million euros.
During these months, the rating agency S&P Global improved Prosegur’s outlook to “stable” and confirmed its credit rating at “BBB/A-2”, which the company interprets as support for its “financial strength and the consistency of its operating performance”.
Evolution of the business divisions
The Prosegur Security division prolonged its sales growth path during the period, driven above all by the US, Spanish, Portuguese and Colombian markets. This area reached revenue of 2,137 million euros, 9.8% higher than that of the first nine months of the previous year.
At the same time, Prosegur Cash obtained sales of 1,510 million euros between January and September, 1.4% more than in the same period of 2025, supported by its “good performance” in the different markets in which it operates.
Prosegur’s alarm activity, which continued increasing its user base, added almost 1.1 million customers, which represents an increase of 2.2% compared with the first nine months of the preceding fiscal year.
In addition, in both Prosegur Alarms and Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, progress was recorded in monthly recurring charges (ARPU), with an increase of 2.7% in the first case and 2.9% in the second.
