Rovi has recorded net profit of 162.8 million euros in the first nine months of the financial year, which represents an increase of 67% compared with the same period of 2025, the pharmaceutical company said this Thursday in a communication to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).
Rovi’s gross operating result (Ebitda) reached 226.6 million euros through September, 52% more than in the first nine months of the previous year, while the operating net result (Ebit) rose 56%, to stand at 198.7 million euros.
The company’s operating income increased to 610.2 million euros between January and September, 16% higher than in the same period of 2025. This increase is explained, above all, by the performance of the contract manufacturing area, whose revenues jumped 45%, to 263.9 million euros.
For its part, Rovi’s specialty pharmaceuticals division increased its sales by 1% in the first nine months of the year, to reach 346.1 million euros.
The pharmaceutical company’s gross margin improved by 5.7 percentage points compared with the first nine months of 2025, to reach 72.7%.
The company has detailed that this margin improvement includes the effect of the recognition of income linked to the R&D (research and development) grant awarded by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) for the Laisolid project.
In its forecasts for the full financial year, Rovi maintains that its operating income will increase between 0% and 10% compared with 2025.
With regard to 2027, the pharmaceutical company has stated that it will release these projections when it has the results for the 2026 financial year, which will be published in February of next year.
"The progress made during the financial year reinforces our confidence in Rovi’s growth outlook. The combination of a solid industrial platform, an increasingly diversified customer portfolio, a growing international presence, and a determined commitment to innovation allows us to face the future with confidence and places us in a favorable position to generate sustainable growth and create long-term value for our shareholders and other stakeholders," Juan López-Belmonte Encina, chairman and CEO of Rovi, has stressed.
