Self Bank has announced an improvement in the remuneration of its savings account, which may reach up to a maximum of 2.25% provided that the account holder maintains a certain level of connection with the entity, according to what was communicated this Wednesday.
The Self Savings Account is now structured in two alternatives: a standard option, without the need to contract other products, and another with a higher interest rate for those clients who keep at least 20,000 euros invested in mutual funds, ETFs and/or pension plans marketed by the bank.
In the case of customers without additional connection, the account pays 1% for the first 50,000 euros, 1.50% for the balance included up to 150,000 euros, and 2% for the tranche that reaches 1,000,000 euros. For linked customers, these same tranches are remunerated at 1.50%, 1.75% and 2.25%, respectively.
"Through this new format, thanks to the new remuneration conditions, we allow customers who have greater liquidity to be able to choose between different alternatives with attractive rates," said the Business Director of Self Bank, Javier Sánchez.
The account is exempt from opening, maintenance and cancellation fees. In addition, interest is generated day by day and credited monthly to the customer’s own savings account.
