Soltec Power Holdings has concluded the first half of the fiscal year with consolidated net losses of 28.166 million euros, which represents an increase of 29% compared to the same period of the previous year, when the 'red numbers' stood at 21.831 million euros.
According to the accounts sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the energy division recorded losses of 25.772 million euros and the parent company Soltec Power Holdings reported a negative result of 3.2 million euros, while the industrial business obtained a net profit of 0.8 million euros.
The consolidated revenue figure of Soltec fell to 9.706 million euros, after a decrease of 85.1% compared to the 65.261 million euros recorded a year earlier. For its part, the gross operating result (Ebitda) was negative and skyrocketed by 927.8%, to -18.5 million euros.
At the close of June 30, 2026, the consolidated net worth of the group stood at -63.346 million euros, compared to -30.874 million euros also negative recorded on December 31, 2025. However, the individual equity of the parent company rose to 81.444 million euros positive.
The total liabilities of the group increased from 364.169 million euros to 367.474 million euros, while the cash and other liquid equivalent assets available reached 33.9 million euros, including 11.05 million euros in time deposits.
CHANGES IN THE BOARD
In the area of corporate governance, the board of directors has agreed to appoint Marcelino Oreja Arburua, current president and independent director of Soltec, as a member and president of the nominations and remuneration committee.
This modification occurs after the resignation of independent director Luigi Pigorini, communicated on September 16. Following this movement, this body will be composed of Oreja Arburua as president, Marta Martínez Queimadelos as independent member, and Iñigo Barcaiztegui Quiroga as a proprietary member.
