The Spanish company Aeromarine, classified as an SME, has secured a contract valued at eight million euros to carry out repair and maintenance tasks for the radars of the Armed Forces, as stated in the Public Procurement Platform of the Public Sector consulted by Europa Press.
This contract has been driven by the Economic Management Directorate of the Logistics Support Command of the Armed Forces, an entity dependent on the Ministry of Defence, and is structured as a framework agreement for the comprehensive sustainment of radars and navigation aid systems that are installed on the Naval Platforms of the Armed Forces.
The estimated value of the contract, which does not have financing coming from European funds, amounts to 16 million euros as the maximum amount, although the base tender budget set stands at eight million without including taxes.
The planned execution period is two years starting from the past 27 October, the date on which the agreement was formalized, or until the full amount of the available economic resource is used up.
It is also highlighted that the eight million proposal submitted by Aeromarine was the only offer received by the department headed by Margarita Robles.
