Three workers have lost their lives this Wednesday following a serious workplace accident recorded at a livestock farm located in Pitillas, as sources from Sos Navarra have pointed out.
The incident occurred at 12:16 hours in the El Salobrar area, in the municipality of Pitillas, when three people were trapped inside a slurry pit that presented an atmosphere with a low level of oxygen.
Firefighters from the Tafalla station and members of the Technical Rescue Group, in addition to a medical team, an SVA ambulance, a medicalized helicopter and another rescue helicopter, have gone to the scene. Agents of the Policía Foral from the Tafalla precinct and an emergency psychologist have also intervened for the care of those affected.
