Sumar proposes to anticipate the designation of its future leadership and the definition of the brand of the political space after the result obtained this Sunday by the coalition Por Andalucía in the Andalusian elections, where they have managed to retain the five seats they already held. "To accelerate is something urgent," has pointed out the party's coordinator, Lara Hernández.

At the doors of the Congress, Hernández has recognized that the data achieved by Por Andalucía, an alliance in which Sumar, IU and Podemos are integrated, "are not satisfactory" for a candidacy in which her formation has intervened "actively" both in its configuration and during the electoral campaign.

Given this scenario, Hernández has remarked that Sumar now has "a short period of time" to define "who will be the person" who will assume the leadership of the political space, as well as the name and the brand with which it will present itself. Sources from the organization point out that this process should close before summer.

"Of course our will is to roll up our sleeves to work on it, because our vocation is to build that federal project, that state project," has insisted the leader of Sumar, minority partner of the Government.
