At least eight Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of some 20 bombings launched by Israel in the last few hours over the Gaza Strip, with particular intensity in Gaza City and Khan Yunis, in the south of the enclave.
The Israeli Army has confirmed operations in which it claims to have killed "two Hamas terrorists in the north of the enclave" over this weekend. One of them has been identified as Hasán Mustafa Zahir al Razina, wanted for placing explosives on the "yellow line" that delimits Israeli positions in the enclave. The second has been identified as Mohamed Mahmud Abdel Maati Fiomi, from the Nujba unit.
At the same time, the official Palestinian agency Wafa reports the death of four people on Al Siná street, in the southwest of Gaza City, after the impact of an Israeli explosive drone against a metal workshop. These victims are in addition to the three deceased reported on Saturday by the Gazan authorities.
Another person has died and several more have been injured in an attack on a tent for displaced people located west of Khan Yunis, as detailed by the Palestinian newspaper "Filastín".
Furthermore, a minor, Tala Yumaa Muhamad Abú Matar, has died at the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital due to the severity of the injuries sustained after being hit by Israeli projectiles east of the Al Bureij refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip.
Also dead from injuries received two days ago from Israeli fire is the Palestinian Mahmud Muhamad Muslé, also shot east of the Al Bureij camp. In Khan Yunis, Muhamad Mayed Abú Sunaida has also died, after being injured on Saturday north of this town.
Meanwhile, demolitions continue east of Khan Yunis, Israeli tank fire, as well as attacks by quadcopters dropping explosives, fire from Israeli military vessels deployed off the coast of Gaza, and artillery bombardments.
All these attacks are taking place within the framework of a theoretical ceasefire agreed upon in October of last year. Since then, Israeli operations have caused 1,100 deaths and 3,546 injuries, after adding two more deceased during Saturday. Since the start of the Gaza war in 2023, Israel's attacks have caused the deaths of 73,223 Palestinians and left 173,654 injured.
