At least eight Palestinians, including a child, have lost their lives in a new series of bombings carried out by the Israeli Army against the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed in October 2025 between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Government of Israel after accepting the United States' proposal on the future of the enclave.

Medical sources cited by the WAFA news agency have indicated that at least six Palestinians, including a woman, have died and several more have been injured as a result of an airstrike in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Strip.

However, the Palestinian newspaper 'Filastin', linked to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has reported that the number of fatalities in this bombing—which allegedly hit a police station located in the Jabalia camp—amounted to eight people instead of six.

Previously, health sources consulted by WAFA had confirmed the death of a minor in an attack in the Al Mauasi area, near Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the enclave, while another man died in a separate bombing in the same city, with Israeli forces not having issued comments on these incidents.

The Israeli Army reported this Tuesday the death of four alleged members of Hamas's armed wing, the Ezzeldin al-Qassam Brigades, in airstrikes carried out during the day against Jabalia.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) indicated in a statement that troops had killed Muhamad Maruán Muhamad Salem, described as "military security chief of the Jabalia Central Battalion, belonging to the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas."

Along with him, three other members of the same battalion died, identified as Yamal Muhamad Gabriel Abid, Abdel Malek Abú al Yabin, and Ghasan Akram Salamé Dax, the latter two defined as agents of the "Hamas Police," according to the IDF's version.

"Recently, terrorists had gathered in order to attempt to promote and carry out terrorist plans. The terrorists were eliminated to neutralize the threat," the Israeli Army explained.

These deaths are in addition to those of four other alleged Hamas members who died on Monday in Israeli attacks against various points in the Strip, including a "terrorist" identified as Naim Hamdi Shamalek, hit in a bombing in Gaza City.

"Throughout the war and in more recent times, he worked to try to restore and strengthen Hamas's naval power and to promote terrorist plots in the maritime sphere," the Israeli Army stated in another communiqué.

Likewise, it specified that three other Hamas "terrorists" were "eliminated" in a separate operation in the north of the enclave. "The terrorists posed an imminent threat to our forces, who are operating in the area. They were eliminated in precise bombings," it added, without providing further information.

The Gaza Ministry of Health detailed this Tuesday that 1,110 people have died and 3,599 have been injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire came into effect, including two fatalities and 21 injured in the last 24 hours. It also added that, in this same period, 800 bodies have been recovered in areas from which Israeli troops withdrew.

Finally, the health organization recalled that, since the start of the Israeli offensive following the attacks of October 7, 2023 —which caused about 1,200 deaths and nearly 250 abductions, according to the official toll—, 73,233 deaths and 173,707 injured have been counted in the Strip, while emphasizing that there are still numerous bodies in the streets and under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
