The authorities of Kuwait have reported a new wave of drone attacks coming from Iran, emphasizing that their air defense systems are managing to neutralize these unmanned devices.
The Kuwaiti Army has stated in a statement that "Currently, Kuwaiti air defenses are facing attacks from hostile unmanned aircraft, following the sinful Iranian aggression."
In the same official note, the military has explained that the loud noises heard by the population "are the result of the interception of air defense systems against hostile attacks."
Likewise, they have stressed that "Everyone is asked to comply with the security and protection instructions issued by the competent authorities," insisting on the need to follow official guidelines in light of the current situation.
In recent times, this Gulf State has become one of the priority targets of Tehran's actions, which justifies its attacks by denouncing the presence of bases in Kuwaiti territory used by U.S. forces to carry out operations against the Islamic Republic.
This same Friday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has claimed responsibility for an attack on an ammunition storage and shelters for military personnel at the Ali al Salem base in Kuwait, a facility used by the United States Army for its missions in the Middle East.
