Authorities in Zaporizhzhia reported on Monday the death of two people and at least 18 injured after several attacks by the Russian Army against this province in eastern Ukraine, much of which remains occupied by Moscow.

The regional governor, Ivan Fedorov, explained that Russian drones impacted the center of the eponymous capital, one of the areas that remain under Kyiv's control. According to him, the devices hit residential buildings and vehicles, in addition to razing several commercial stalls.

One of these bombings occurred in the Khortytskyi district, where most of the injured, including minors, as well as the two fatalities, were concentrated, as detailed by Fedorov on his social networks.

In parallel, new attacks were registered during the same day in the Sumy region, which caused the death of one person, and in the city of Sloviansk, in the Donetsk province, where nine people were injured after an artillery fire attack.
