The Secretary General of Podemos, Ione Belarra, has shown her rejection of the sentence that orders her to pay 9,000 euros to the former magistrate of the National High Court Manuel García Castellón, whom she holds responsible for having promoted "judicial dirty war" against her party and for "protecting corrupt" members of the PP.
Belarra reacted on the social network 'X' after learning of the ruling by the Court of First Instance Number 45 of Madrid, which orders her to compensate García Castellón with 9,000 euros for having called him "corrupt" and a prevaricator.
"They are sentencing me to pay 9,000 euros to García Castellón, the judge who is going to Cartagena de Indias with the corrupt members of Plus Ultra, who has protected the corrupt members of the PP and has waged judicial dirty war against Podemos. They will pursue us, but they will not succeed in silencing us. We continue," Belarra concluded.
The leader and MEP of Podemos, Irene Montero, also lashed out against the resolution that forces "a deputy" to pay 9,000 euros to García Castellón, whom she defines as a judge "who has protected the PP and has waged dirty war against Podemos." "They punish us but they will not buy our silence," she added on 'X'.
For his part, the co-spokesperson of Podemos, Pablo Fernández, assured, after this ruling became known, that they will not refrain from "calling corrupt people corrupt no matter how much they try."
