The national deputy secretary of the Partido Popular, Cuca Gamarra, has launched into a "lack of empathy that the PSOE is showing in the last hours towards citizens," considering that "after the Urda accident has occurred, it has devoted its time to shielding the bonus of the Adif management committee, instead of shielding rail safety."

During the closing of the roundtable "Proposals for young people" of the Nuevas Generaciones of the PP, held this Saturday in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Gamarra called the socialists "shameless" in a speech focused on the management of rail transport and the Government’s decisions after the Urda incident.

The PP leader referred to information circulated by various media to criticize that the new Transport minister, Carlos Cuerpo, "has been concerned about protecting the bonus of the management committee of a public company, like Adif, rather than being dedicated, solely and exclusively, to recovering rail transport safety" in Spain.

Gamarra also criticized that the PSOE applauded this Friday the former minister Óscar Puente at a rally in Valencia, despite, as she stressed, being "a person who has in his CV two accidents with 115 victims." "The PSOE has reached such a point of degradation and indignity that it applauds Puente," she reproached.

In her view, in the current Spanish rail network "nothing works" and "the best thing that can happen to us is that we arrive late." She assured that the rail system is "the greatest failure of 'sanchismo,' since it has gone from being the envy in the world to having a network without safety and in which 115 people have lost their lives in the last year."

Along the same lines, she recalled that in the last eight years there has been a minister of Development, José Luis Ábalos, who "sleeps in jail, convicted to 24 years and with still pending cases," followed by a "twitter" minister, Óscar Puente, who "has been dedicated to insulting us all."

She also reviewed that, in the last week, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has requested "a second dock to try for corruption the Ministry of Development, the UCO has carried out six arrests, among them Sánchez’s driver, and as the European Prosecutor’s Office asks for information in Adif about the contracts that have to do with safety." "This cannot be and it has to end, to return good management at the head of the ministries," she demanded.

"LET’S HAVE SÁNCHEZ RESIGN"

The national deputy secretary of the PP has stated that the head of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, "no longer fools anyone" and has set out the next general elections in a "single key: either Sánchez or the necessary change represented by Alberto Núñez Feijóo".

"Faced with Pedro Sánchez's negligence, there is Núñez Feijóo's experience; faced with Sánchez's corruption, there is Feijóo's good management over so many years in charge of the Xunta de Galicia; and faced with Sánchez's lies, there is Feijóo's decency," she defended.

According to Gamarra, "Sánchez knows that he has everything lost" and now "they call themselves the Broad Front, even though they always want to divide and confront, and 'broad' is little, since it is increasingly dwindling." Regarding these pacts on the left, she has pointed out that "Sánchez are looking to vampirize everyone, to keep all that political space for themselves."

In addition, she has argued that "since Sánchez has not had the dignity to resign, let's make him resign, not out of his own will, but by decision of the Spanish people and, of course, of all Basques."

In relation to the roundtable organized by Nuevas Generaciones del PP, Gamarra has underlined that "Feijóo represents change to face reality, by claiming that 'sanchismo' has stolen the present from a generation." "On November 29 we decided whether they also steal the future from them or whether we leave it in the hands of young people so that no one can steal it from them," she added.

As for housing, she has advanced that the PP will promote the construction of one million homes in four years, "by speeding up the timelines and eliminating bureaucratic obstacles," and that it will propose cutting taxes such as VAT, which "penalizes young people when buying a home," with a 60% reduction and the possibility of deferral.

"Over the next few years, housing will stop being a problem and will become the main policy of Alberto Núñez Feijóo's Government. This is what we want to do with a very clear message; the 'okupa' and the delinquent are going to have the good times come to an end, and this is the time for the people who make an effort," she concluded.
