Elecciones generales del 29 de noviembre · Demócrata

The PP’s deputy secretary for Institutional Regeneration, Cuca Gamarra, has reiterated that the voter who supports the PSOE in Valladolid in the upcoming general elections on November 29 will, in practice, be backing former PSOE Transport minister Óscar Puente. At the same time, she has called on citizens to "resign" the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, through their vote in the ballot boxes that same November 29.

Before taking part in a meeting with associations of Civil Guards and police officers in Valladolid, Gamarra referred to the former minister: "Óscar Puente resigned a few days ago, but there is a reality and it is that Óscar Puente, just like José Luis Ábalos, never should have ended up being ministers of Fomento in the Government of Spain."

The 'popular' leader has pointed out that the careers of both "converge in that, in the end, after eight years, the railway system, a high-speed line that was the example, the envy of the world, has become something that, at this moment, many citizens do not feel safe with."

In this line, she has defended that "investment has stopped, action has stopped, because during a first stage they dedicated themselves to stealing and in the second stage, which is the stage of Óscar Puente, they have dedicated themselves to tweeting, to insulting, but not to managing, not to working, not to serving, and this has had consequences."

According to Gamarra, "Óscar Puente’s resignation does not place him in a position of moral superiority because it is the consequence of two tragic accidents in a single year that have a lot to do with the neglect of infrastructure and with the fact that it has been governed over these last eight years thinking about stealing from the Ministry of Fomento," she has said.

Looking at the electoral appointment of November 29, the PP official has stressed that the people of Valladolid have "the possibility of changing the way of governing" so that Spain has an Executive in which "being in charge of a ministry is not a diversion but a public service" carried out by "serious people, capable people, managers who have experience in those areas."

"No matter how much they want to hide it, on November 29 Óscar Puente will be on the PSOE tickets," the 'popular' representative has emphasized, who has described the former minister as "the second person responsible for everything that has happened in this country in the year when we are talking about infrastructure and that has claimed 116 lives."

In this context, Gamarra has maintained that "the top person in charge is Pedro Sánchez and just as the polls have caused Óscar Puente to be dismissed, on the next 29 November the Spanish people have the opportunity to dismiss Pedro Sánchez at the ballot box".

ABOUT KOLDO GARCÍA AND THE PP LAWYER

As for the reports about a meeting between the PP lawyer and Koldo García, the deputy secretary has replied: "Look, I’m only going to tell you one thing very clearly. Today I hear a lot of socialists saying that we are not the same. Of course, we are not the same".

In relation to this matter, she has said: "While they put Koldo García on the Board of Directors of Renfe, the PP put Koldo García in the dock. It asked for 30 years in prison and today Koldo García is convicted for having committed crimes and he is a criminal. A criminal who has to serve a prison sentence of more than 19 years with an accusation from the Partido Popular of more than 30 years in prison".
