The delegate of Economic Development, Promotion and Employment of the Diputación de Córdoba, Félix Romero, has made a balance of Intercaza, the fair dedicated to leisure, hunting, active tourism, and the environment, which this Sunday the 20th closes its 27th edition after a "great influx" of visitors who, throughout the days of celebration, have passed through the Exhibition, Fairs, and Conventions Center of the capital.
According to Romero, "we have concluded an edition of Intercaza that returns to September and does so with a great reception from the citizens, but especially from a sector that has once again committed to this fair to demonstrate the enormous hunting potential that our province has," as the provincial institution has pointed out in a note.
The provincial official has recalled that "we recovered September after listening to the agents of the Cordoban hunting world to coincide this meeting with the beginning of the hunting season and we could not have been more timely after observing the success achieved in this new edition of Intercaza."
The also president of the Provincial Institute of Economic Development (Iprodeco) has emphasized, likewise, that "we set ourselves the goal of making Córdoba and the province the hunting capital of Spain and we can say that our territory has become, for a few days, a meeting point for the global hunting sector, attracting the attention of important professionals and exhibitors."
In this line, he has insisted that "we have offered a professionalized appointment in which subsectors as disparate as those focused on sport fishing; safaris, gunsmithing and equipment, cutlery, taxidermy, saddlery, falconry, or hunting farms have brought the visitor closer to the world of hunting."
Romero has recalled that "we opened this edition, he continued, with novelties such as a gastronomic corner where tastings, cooking demonstrations, and presentations related to gastronomy and 'Sabor a Córdoba' have been held. A synergy with the gastronomic world that has filled the 27th edition of Intercaza with smell and flavor."
To conclude, the delegate has pointed out that "in short, we close this fair and we do so convinced that each and every one of the 68 participating exhibitors have found in our land a reference for hunting activity and in the Diputación de Córdoba, an institution that listens to a sector so important for the economic and social development of many of our municipalities".
