Tineo celebrates this weekend the XXI edition of the Purebred Spanish Horse and Crossbred Horse Competition, a test valid for the Morphological Championship of Asturias that will once again bring together breeders, riders, and lovers of the equestrian world from different parts of the Principality and other autonomous communities, including Extremadura.
The program began this Saturday, at 10:00 AM, with the judging of the 43 Purebred Spanish specimens registered. From 4:00 PM onwards, space has been reserved for the evaluation of the 72 crossbred horses. In total, 115 specimens from 21 Asturian councils will participate, in addition to herds from Extremadura, Pontevedra, and Madrid.
Activities will continue tomorrow under the coordination of the associations EqTineo and La Estampida. Sunday's event will start at 10:30 AM with an equestrian route lasting about two hours, after which a fellowship meal will be offered. In the afternoon, the program includes an equestrian gymkhana with various obstacles and the traditional ribbon race.
