A worker has died this Tuesday in Granada after a chimney that was being propped up for its demolition fell on him on Laureado López Muñoz street, in the Zaidín neighborhood. The accident occurred minutes before 11:00 a.m., according to the Emergency service 112 Andalucía.
The alert received by 112 indicated that a chimney had fallen on a worker who was performing tasks in the building. The coordinating room mobilized 061, the National Police, and the Local Police.
The medical services dispatched to the scene performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on the worker, but could not save his life. The death occurred at the scene of the accident.
