The Socialist Group has registered in the Parliament of Andalusia a written document addressed to the Presidency of the Chamber, held by Ana Mestre (PP-A), so that it will "reconsider" its decision to keep the debate on the entirety of the Draft Budget Law of the Autonomous Community for 2027 next Wednesday, 11 November, a date that coincides with the general strike called by the main unions. In that document, the PSOE-A reiterates its request that this debate be moved to the second plenary session, scheduled for Thursday, 12 November.

In the note released this Thursday, the Socialist Group emphasizes that the proposal to modify the calendar and set an alternative agenda does not mean "suspending parliamentary work, preventing the debate, or halting the processing of a law," and therefore it calls on the president of the Parliament, Ana Mestre, and on the Board —where PP-A and Vox hold a majority— to "formally clarify the specific reasons for their rejection of the change of date."

The PSOE-A warns that the Presidency's decision to hold the debate on the entirety of the new budget on the same day on which a general strike is called, "despite the alternatives put forward, can be interpreted as an action aimed at making participation difficult and reducing visibility for the trade-union mobilization day."

In the same written document, the Socialist Group also requests "that the criteria applied" for "the reprogramming of pending initiatives due to the suspension of the last ordinary plenary session because of the train accident in Urda" (Toledo) be reviewed, calling for "details on the proposals recovered by each party, those that continue to be postponed, and their impact on their respective" parliamentary seats. In the view of the PSOE-A, the Presidency and the Board must "adopt the necessary measures" to recover the Socialist initiatives still without being debated "without imposing an unjustified reduction of their parliamentary seats" in the coming plenary sessions.

In keeping with these demands, the Socialist group asks that "the criteria of priority" be explained that were used to include on the agenda of the session of November 11 the motion to reform the Court of Auditors of Andalusia promoted by PP-A and Vox, which appears in the parliamentary agenda "despite the fact that initiatives such as the general debate on housing still have no date." The party requests detailed information about the "procedural status" of that motion, "the reasons that prevent it from being processed and the outlook for upcoming plenary sessions," and concludes by demanding that the Chair of the Board "analyze and rule on the requests submitted in writing before the holding of the plenary sessions of November 11 and 12."
