The Official State Gazette (BOE) of this Wednesday, August 26, includes a wide list of appointments in the Administration, among them new ambassadors and the incorporation as career civil servants of teachers, professors, and education inspectors.
The edition also publishes new public employment calls in municipalities and provincial councils, changes in the General Directorate of International Financing, and several collaboration agreements of the Administration.
New ambassadors of Spain in Syria, Sudan, and Eritrea
The Government appoints Antonio González-Zavala Peña as ambassador of Spain in Syria, after his dismissal as special envoy for that country.
The BOE also includes the appointment of Daniel Losada Millar as ambassador in Sudan and Eritrea, after his dismissal as special envoy for Sudan.
New liaison judges in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom
The Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Courts publishes several appointments of liaison judges.
Íñigo Herrero Elejalde will be the liaison judge before the authorities of the United States, with accreditation also before Canada, while Iria Sabela González López will perform this function before the French authorities. In addition, Francisco de Borja Jiménez Muñoz has been appointed liaison judge before the authorities of the United Kingdom, with extended accreditation before Ireland.
Career civil servants appointed: teachers, professors, and inspectors
The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports publishes three orders to appoint as career civil servants the selected individuals in the processes called in December 2024.
The appointments affect the Corps of Teachers, the bodies of Secondary Education Professors, Official Language School Professors, and Music and Performing Arts Professors, as well as the Corps of Education Inspectors.
Change in the General Directorate of International Financing
The BOE publishes the dismissal of Inés Carpio San Román as general director of International Financing.
The Government appoints in her place Luis Óscar Moreno García-Cano, who will take over the General Directorate of International Financing of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Business.
Modified a selective process of the National Police Corps
The General Directorate of the Police modifies the resolution by which the list of people who passed the phases of opposition and competition in the selection process of technical and professional personnel of the National Police Corps was published.
The resolution affects the people summoned to the specialization course and to the practical training phase at the workplace.
New public employment calls
The BOE includes new calls to fill positions in local administrations, with processes published by the Insular Council of Tenerife, the Provincial Council of Valladolid, Suma Tax Management of the Provincial Council of Alicante, and numerous municipalities.
Among the towns with new calls are Tarazona, Socuéllamos, Santoña, Valdés, Barakaldo, Jaca, Ontinyent, El Boalo, Puertollano, and Ingenio, among others.
A new Spanish school in Brazil
The Ministry of Education publishes an agreement with the Sociedade Mineira de Cultura to establish the Santa Maria Minas Unidade Cidade Nova Spanish School as a partnership center in Brazil.
The agreement regulates the collaboration between both parties for the operation of the center within the Spanish educational network abroad.
