The Junts spokesperson in the Congress and candidate in the upcoming general elections, Miriam Nogueras, has reiterated her demand to the central Government to carry out the full transfer of Renfe to Catalunya, arguing that the public railway services it manages in this autonomous community "do not work" and that "order is needed and trust must be generated".

In a video released and reported by Europa Press, Nogueras explains that first thing this Tuesday morning, before boarding the AVE bound for Madrid to attend the Permanent Deputation being held this afternoon in the Congress, she checked the status of the Rodalies network. According to what she detailed, of the 19 existing lines, 15 showed incidents and, of these, six were considered serious.

The Junts leader contrasted this situation with that of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), where no incidents or delays were recorded, something that, in her view, shows that the railway services managed by Pedro Sánchez's Executive "do not work".

"And when public services do not work, a country collapses," warned the independence leader, once again stressing the demand that the Government transfer the management of Renfe in its entirety to Catalunya so that the service can begin to be administered "well". "Order is needed and trust needs to be generated," she concluded.
