The Investigating Court number 3 of Oviedo has agreed to release provisionally, imposing a restraining order, the five arrested for the assault on two AMAS Asturies activists during the San Mateo festivities, last Friday, September 11, in the Plaza de la Catedral de Oviedo.

The magistrate has decided not to impose the obligation to appear in court on the 1st and 15th of each month, after verifying that all the young people have known residence and ties in the city of Oviedo.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Principality of Asturias had requested this Thursday the prohibition of approaching the victims to less than 200 meters, as well as the prohibition of communicating with them by any means while the procedure is ongoing, in addition to the obligation to appear periodically in court.

Pending what is specified during the instruction of the case, the Public Prosecutor attributes indicatively to the detainees two crimes of injury, one of them considered less serious, and a hate crime.
