The Spanish Bar Association has called this Friday various associations, professional groups, and the mutualists' union with the aim of jointly advancing in the preparation for their upcoming meeting with the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, Elma Saiz, scheduled for September 22. In that meeting, the "proposals developed over the last few weeks" regarding the regulation of the Gateway to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) will be presented.
During the meeting, the president of the Spanish Bar Association, Salvador González, along with the president of the Social Security Commission, Ignacio Gally, conveyed the details of their last meeting with Saiz, according to the institution in a statement released this Friday.
In that previous meeting, González expressly requested that the processing of the regulation "be declared urgent" and have "an eminently technical nature," to which the minister responded by committing to "request the urgent processing from the Council of Ministers."
Likewise, the participating organizations have shown total agreement on "the need to maintain the utmost speed in the processing of the regulation" and have specified a series of common points that they will send to the Government next Tuesday, "without prejudice to other claims specific to the different associations, groups, and unions."
Among the decisions already adopted on September 3 is that the associations, groups, and the union would designate from among their members a person to attend the next meeting with the Ministry, alongside the representation of the Spanish Bar Association.
